Casa Tara

Casa Tara is David Glowacki’s art studio in the historic area of Santiago de Compostela. Casa Tara has abundant natural light, with an energy that nurtures artistic creation, balance, and grounding. The main salón is decorated in a Zen style, featuring for example Tatami mats imported from Japan. The kitchen, which is connected to the salón, is equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. Casa Tara has 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is David’s room (with double doors that open onto the salón) where he stays when he is in Santiago. Bedroom 2 (approx 16 sq. meters) and Bedroom 3 (approx 12 sq. meters) are recently renovated guestrooms. They are clean and comfortable. Each has a balcony, a dresser, a height-adjustable desk, and a double bed with under-bed storage.

The Casa Tara guestrooms are currently available (with further details available here). The price is flexible, particularly for people developing a creative practice, or those who are energetically aligned with some aspect of Casa Tara.

David works as a scientist and artist; he is also the director of the ‘Intangible Realities Laboratory’ (IRL). He travels extensively to participate in a range of creative projects, also spending time at his Jungle Tara art studio in Northern Portugal.
